“This is just his third game in four months. He is not 100 percent and he will do. He will gain in physical ability with the matches and this may help him.”
Lyon had goalkeeper Anthony Lopes to thank you as they remained in the competition, with the Portuguese generating outstanding saves from Neymar and Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting since PSG listed 21 shots in target.
But, Lopes was left helpless since Neymar – swarmed by defenders – as his side made it five successive victories as many clean sheets generated a moment of quality by Rennes in August.
“Neymar will benefit in physical ability with the matches and this will benefit him,” additional Tuchel. “He’s always crucial, he is always inventive and he looks ahead.”
