Mauricio Pochettino keen to focus on football now transfer window has closed

Mauricio Pochettino is convinced about that which Tottenham can reach over with the transfer window now shut and no interruptions.
The Spurs boss had to compete with talk about the future of important players such as Christian Eriksen for much of the summer, given Toby Alderweireld as well that the Dane and Jan Vertonghen only have one year remaining on their contracts.
However, with the transfer window having closed on September 2, Pochettino is optimistic before Saturday’s home game regardless of the club preparing for 2 matches in the space of three weeks, with Crystal Palace at the Premier League.
“I think we’re all agreed that Tottenham always have more rumours compared to some other clubs,” he said.
“In 1 month, I think that it will start again using the rumours, for sure, because the situation of the squad is going to assist those rumours seem. I think we speak a lot.
“Today it’s a time to be positive. Victor Wanyama is within my plans. Christian is in my own plans. They will have the same potential to play.
“Before, I knew they were in a tricky situation and of course always we attempt to assist them, to help the club, to do their organization. But I said to you, it’s not easy.
“Whether it is one player [who wants to depart ], OK, but when it’s a couple of players, that begin to ensure it is hard to produce a fantastic lively, a favorable dynamic… but now it’s time to be optimistic.
“Today we need to start to win matches. That’s our objective. Be refocused, and who isn’t refocused is going to be outside.”
Pochettino is convinced Eriksen remains focused and dedicated, though the 27-year-old is absolutely totally free to talk about a transfer to other clubs in January .
Eriksen will have to demonstrate that he stays on board Spurs, with fellow playmaker Giovani Lo Celso out wounded before the end of October with a stylish problem and summer registering.
“you can’t uncertainty about the player’s commitment,” added Pochettino.
“When you sign up the contract, like Christian who signed for five or five decades, you need to be committed from day one to the last day.
“Since there is only 1 year left on the contract, [you think] he is not going to show that the devotion? I think he’s showing his devotion by playing with football.
“[The] difference is if he would like to extend the contract or not. Various players have different goals.
“The problem with football, the business, supervisors, staff, players, nobody will say’I want to leave the club.’ If I am not wanted by any one, you then say’no, I love the club.’
“You take yourself, you kill yourself. Come on, you’re like me, you know the company. That’s why after what is said, there is a good deal of history, the reality is that the supervisor, players, coaching staff, and they have one and they are so happy here and the other they require a challenge.
“We’re the very first, the supervisor, the coaching staff, but always it is about the best way to handle and how you utilize it to be in a fantastic position”
