Napoli fan arrested over Inter supporter death before Serie A clash
Even a Napoliultra fan was arrested and accused of killing the Inter Milan supporter who died following clashes beyond the San Siro ahead of a Serie A match last December.
A 39-year-old Napoli enthusiast, fabio Manduca, is accused of driving the SUV that struck Daniele Belardinelli, a 35-year-old Inter supporter who died on December 26 in the clashes.
Manduca, with a criminal record, has been charged with voluntary manslaughter.
Prosecutors think that Manduca, who refused to answer inquiries by authorities from the evaluation, has ties into the Camorra crime syndicate.
The match was also marred by racist chants that directed Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly.
In March, five Inter lovers such as the clubultra leaders Marco Piovella and Nino Ciccarelli were sentenced for up to nearly four decades because of their jobs in the clashes.
