A row broke out between Ryan Walsh and Hairon Soccaras teams regarding their weigh-in results prior to The Golden Contract begins.
Featherweight champion Walsh responded patiently after he was wrongly accused of lost the burden by Soccaras coach Jorge Rubio.
Walsh was chosen as the competition by Soccaras in the tournaments first round on Friday at 8pm, live on Sky Sports Action.
But coach Rubio – renowned together with the Olympic team of Cuba then more lately Luke Campbell and Amir Khan – caused some stir at Fridays weigh-in.
Rubio was irritated that he was not given the chance to observe that the 126lbs limit had been successfully made by Walsh.
Representatives of both fighters shouted back and forth since Walsh and Soccaras confronted, having made the burden. Walsh struck their stare-down to turn around and join in the argument.
The limitation was successfully made by all eight featherweights before Fridays fights.
